Tri-M Music National Honor Society @ Northville High School

What is Tri-M?

This Honor Society uses music to create a stronger connection with our school and community through performances, volunteering, and service. The volunteering and community service opportunities will be music related. This is a group of students who are passionate about music and are inspired to share their musical gifts with others. We are looking for leaders and people ready to give back through music! 

**No GPA requirement
**No need to be enrolled in a music course at NHS
**Requires an interes/passion for music:)​

Requirements:

3 Performance Credits

  • We provide 2 performance opportunities
    >Holiday Concert: Dec. 8th
    >Spring Concert: April 5th
     

  • The rest is up to you! Each performance, regardless of length, is worth one credit.

3 Volunteering Credits

  • These will be provided by us! You are responsible for signing up for events and showing up. 
     

  • ABSENCE POLICY: if you miss an event you signed up for, you will have to make up that credit plus complete one additional credit.

IMPORTANT: When you sign up for a service, someone is counting on you to be present. It is a bad reflection on our organization to have no shows with no communication. If you miss a performance, you are impacting other performers in your group. Please be responsible. 

Fee:

There is a $15 fee!!

  • Pay w/ Cash or Check (made out to Northville Public Schools)

  • Write for “Tri-M Fee” AND "(Your Name)" on front of envelope

  • Place in white mailbox located in the band room when you walk in from the right:)

DUE: November 10th!
